Svalövs Belloärt is a grey pea that grows to around 100cm high and needs support. Flowers with purple-pink flowers. Slightly shorter, green pods with brown seeds. From a cross between ‘Hero’ and ‘Artturi’ in 1956. Was traditionally used for animal feed. Use as shelling pea, soup pea, or in pots and stews. Pisum sativum. 10seeds/pack

Björks Snow Pea produces small green pods, resembling many of the other sweet peas from Norrland, Sweden. Possibly slightly more productive than other varieties from this region. Grows up to 200cm and needs support. Has been grown by the Björk’s Family for generations, at least since 1847. Lokförare Bergfälts Jätteärt Snow Pea, classified as a grey pea. The plants grow to over 200cm in height, many times up to 300cm, and need support. Produces extremely large pods, around 3cm broad and 15cm long, sometimes up to 20cm long. Excellent, sweet flavor, meaty and crispy pods. Even large pods with more developed peas inside are still crispy and tender! Flowers with violet-red flowers. Nordic Genebank number: NGB 21724. Very rare variety. The name in Swedish means "Traindriver Mountainfields Giant Pea". The original seeds of this variety were found in the house of a Swedish train driver called Bergfält, from the city of Ludvika in Sweden. Traindriver Bergfält lived between 1890-1945.
