Jade Gem produces round, mid-sized cherry tomatoes. Good yields of pretty, clear-green fruits with thin skin. Light-green fruits also as fully ripe, not amber-colored as many varieties. Sweet, juicy, and fruity tomato flavor with no bitterness or acidity. This might be the same variety as the hybrid ‘Samotsvet Nefritovyy’. Earl of Edgecombe produces slightly flattened, slightly ribbed fruits around 80-200 grams each. Dark orange, firm, and dense fruits with orange flesh. Excellent well-balanced, not too sweet, tomato flavor. Family heritage from New Zealand. Featured in the 1997 Seed Savers Yearbook by Carolyn Homme. Keiner Stiehlt Sie produces round to flat-round, small to mid-sized, slightly ribbed tomatoes of around 40-80 grams each. A nice Green When Ripe (GWR) variety, the name translates to “Nobody Steals Them”, a quite funny name! Bright green fruits with a dark-green neck. Loaghtan Woolies NOT is a bush variety growing to about 100-150cm in height. Loaghtan Woolies produces small, woolly, slightly ribbed fruits around 100 grams. My plants, however, produced heavily ribbed, not woolly fruits around 100 grams – that’s why I call it “NOT”. The plants grow as a bush to around 100-150cm high. Unknown Variety 2 - 2024 was supposed to be ’Harvard Square’, but apparently it’s not! But since this was such a beautiful and tasty variety I had to keep some seeds. I have no idea if it’s a natural mutation, a mix-up from the seed seller, or a cross. It produces small to mid-sized fruits of around 40-100 grams each.
