Aztec Tobacco, Brazilian Tobacco/Wild Tobacco, is the oldest tobacco ever grown in Europe. It was brought to Europe from Middle America around the year 1500. Also called Brazilian Tobacco or Strong Tobacco. Nicotiana rustica contains up to 9% nicotine whereas Nicotiana tabacum contains 1-3% nicotine. The high concentration makes Aztec Tobacco useful for producing pesticides. Can also be used for chewing tobacco, smoking tobacco, etc. The plant grows to about 90-120cm in height.
