Caper is a perennial bush in warm climates. In cooler climates, the plants must be kept indoors or in a greenhouse during the winter. The bush has a cascading growth and can often be seen cascading down from cliffs in the Mediterranean area. Flowers with stunningly beautiful orchid-like flowers in white and pink. Sow the seeds about 1cm deep. Place in the fridge, or outdoors if its cool enough, for some weeks, up to a month. The seeds will germinate slowly and unevenly.
