Aztec Tobacco

Aztec Tobacco, Brazilian Tobacco/Wild Tobacco, is the oldest tobacco ever grown in Europe. It was brought to Europe from Middle America around the year 1500. Also called Brazilian Tobacco or Strong Tobacco. Nicotiana rustica contains up to 9% nicotine whereas Nicotiana tabacum contains 1-3% nicotine. The high concentration makes Aztec Tobacco useful for producing pesticides. Can also be used for chewing tobacco, smoking tobacco, etc. The plant grows to about 90-120cm in height. How to Grow

Sow indoors before planting in the garden. The seeds are tiny and requires light to germinate. Sow the seeds on the surface of the soil. Do not let the seedlings dry out.
