Paste-type tomatoes contain less water than "normal" tomatoes and are perfect for tomato sauce, puree, cooking, etc. The fruits are very firm and meaty and not so watery if cooked. Burbank, or Burbank Slicing, is a bush variety growing up to 100cm in height. Large yields of deep red, round to oblate fruits. Early Tanana is a bush variety growing up to around 80cm in height. Produces large, red cherry tomatoes, around 5cm in diameters. Mild flavor with little acid. Tolerates cooler weather.
