Achatado, or Xatu, is a Spanish long keeper variety, a ”Tomate de Colgar”, “Hanging Tomato”. Produces mid-sized, flattened, and ribbed fruits of around 30-60 grams each. ‘Achatado’ means just that in Spanish, “Flattened”. Pale, orange-red fruits with a pink blush. Quite a juicy, tasty-sweet tomato flavor. Firm flesh, thick skin. Crack-resistant. Good shelf life, and keeps very well after harvest. Indeterminate. 75-80D. 10seeds/pack

Banyalbufar, ‘Tomàtiga de Ramellet de Banyalbufar’, is a longkeeper variety from Hort de can Fura, Banyalbufar, Mallorca, Spain. Produces oval to round fruits, some with a little pointed end. Red-orange fruits with red-pink-orange flesh. Firm fruits with thick walls. Keeps very well after harvest. Indeterminate. 75-80D. 10seeds/pack

Blanca, ‘Tomàtiga de Ramellet Blanca’, is a longkeeper variety from Cas Manescal, Son Sardina, Mallorca, Spain. Produces yellow to pink fruits with pink to red flesh. Firm, but still quite juicy fruits. Keeps very well after harvest. 80D. Indeterminate. 10seeds/pack

Bombonera produces oval, small to mid-sized tomatoes around 40-70grams each. Shiny and smooth fruits with a rich, dark brown-green color. Firm flesh, keeps very well after harvest. My original seeds were obtained not as a hybrid, but a quick Google search says this variety, in fact, is a hybrid. That would make these seeds at least an F3, but I can’t say for sure. 80D. C’al Papa, ‘Ramallet C’al Papa – meaning “of father’s home”, is a longkeeper variety from Mallorca, Spain. A friend who sent me the seeds got her seeds from a friend from Spain. This variety is from his father’s village. My plants produced mid-sized, oval fruits of around 40-50grams each. However, my plant didn’t get sufficient watering. With sufficient water, the fruits will get larger, up to 80-100 grams. Yellow-pink fruits with yellow-pink flesh. Firm fruits that keep well after harvest. 75-80D. Indeterminate. 10seeds/pack

Caganer, ‘tomàquet de penjar Caganer’, is a Spanish “hanging tomato” – longkeeper tomato from Catalonia, Spain. “Penjar” is “to hang” in Catalan. This variety has quite small fruits and got its name from the smallest room in the house, “el caganer”, which literally means "the pooper". The fruits are about 4cm in diameter, around 30-40grams each. Yellow-red-orange fruits with greener necks. Keeps very well after harvest. Originates in Caldes de Malavella, reported by Joan Borrell, Indeterminate. 80D. 10seeds/pack

Cal Camalligat, ‘tomàquet de penjar de Cal Camalligat’, is a Spanish “hanging tomato” – longkeeper tomato from Catalonia, Spain. “Penjar” is “to hang” in Catalan. This variety is named after a farmhouse in Aguilar de Segarra and was reported by Rosa Vilaró. Produces quite small, orange fruits with a pointed tip, around 40grams each. Firm fruits that can be stored for up to 12 months. Indeterminate. 80D. 10seeds/pack

Canyisset, ‘Tomàtiga de Ramellet de Canyisset’, is a longkeeper variety from Son Macià, Manacor, Mallorca, Spain. Produces very large fruits for a long-keeper, up to 300grams per fruit. Pink-ish, flat-round fruits with greener and a bit bulky necks. Firm fruits with pink flesh, quite juicy. Keeps well after harvest, but not as well as varieties with smaller fruits. Large fruits can be stored lying on trays, etc. It can crack if watered too much. 85D. Indeterminate. 10seeds/pack

Castellar, ‘tomàquet de penjar de Castellar’, is a Spanish “hanging tomato” – longkeeper tomato from Catalonia, Spain. “Penjar” is “to hang” in Catalan. It’s named after the municipality of Castellar del Vallès and was reported by Lluís Serra. Produces round, smooth, pale-pink fruits around 50grams each. Each cluster contains around 7 tomatoes. Pink, quite juicy flesh. Keeps well after harvest. Indeterminate. 80D. 10seeds/pack

Christmassy is a determinate variety growing to about 100cm in height and spreads some width-wise. Produces round large, fruits around 100-150grams each, 3-5 fruits in each cluster. Pale-red-orange fruits with thick skin and walls and firm flesh. Pleasant, not so sweet, tomato flavor. Keeps very well after harvest, stored on trays or such. Best used for cooking. 80D. 10seeds/pack

Clare’s is a longkeeper tomato producing round to flat-round fruits of around 50-100grams each. Crème colored, orange-yellow fruits with pink-orange flesh. Thick skin, dense flesh, still quite juicy. Mild, sweet tomato flavor. Dense foliage and quite sturdy plants. 80D. 10seeds/pack

d’Arbúcies, ‘de tomàquet de penjar d’Arbúcies’, is a Spanish “hanging tomato” – longkeeper tomato from Catalonia, Spain. “Penjar” is “to hang” in Catalan. Its named after the village of Arbúcies in Girona and was reported by Pere Pasqual. Produces orange-red fruits with a pointed end, around 50grams each. Firm fruits with thick flesh and little juice. Keeps well after harvest. Indeterminate. 80D. 10seeds/pack

De Pera Rosado is a semi-determinate variety growing to about 150cm in height and spreads width-wise depending on how much of the suckers are pruned. Produces round to oblate, larger fruits with a pleasant, traditional tomato flavor. Thick skin and firm flesh. Keeps very well after harvest, up to 4months. Crack-resistant. The name means "Pink Pear" even though the fruits are red. 75-80D. 10seeds/pack

Espalda Verde is an indeterminate variety growing to about 200cm in height and spreads width-wise depending on how much of the suckers are pruned. Produces oblate large fruits with a full, sweet, slightly spicy tomato flavor. Fruits in size of small beefsteaks, up to 200grams each. Bright-red fruits with a green neck, as the name states in Spanish - "Green Neck". Thick-skinned, very meaty fruits with firm flesh. Crack-resistant. Keeps very well after harvest, up to 4 months. Not exactly a Longkeeper variety in the true sense but Espalda Verde has the most excellent characteristics for storage after harvest. Especially for a large-fruited variety. This is one of the very few beefsteaks that can be stored for a longer period of time. Best stored laying on trays, since the fruits are quite heavy. Ferro, ‘Tomàtiga de Ramellet de Ferro’, is a longkeeper variety from Son Fortuny, Sant Joan, Mallorca, Spain. Produces small fruits around 30-40grams each. Almost round fruits with a slight ribbing. Very firm fruits with thick walls and flesh. Keeps very well after harvest. Drought-resistant. Indeterminate. 75-80D. 10seeds/pack

Gialletto Brindisino is a long-keeper variety. Produces small round fruits with a pointed end. Ripens in yellow-pink to a reddish color. Sweet-sour tomato flavor. Keeps very well after harvest. Can be stored hanging in clusters, on trays, etc. From Italy. Indeterminate. 80-85D. 10seeds/pack

Giant Multiflora is a longkeeper variety producing huge multiflora clusters with 20-35 fruits per cluster. Each fruit weighs around 40-80grams. Very good yields.
