Almandine, ‘Dwarf Almandine Tomato’, is a dwarf variety growing up to 100cm in height. Produces elongated paste-type tomatoes, around 70-100grams each. Beautiful dark-pink fruits with a darker neck, dark-pink-red flesh. Pleasant, well-balanced taste. Paste-type tomatoes contain less water than "normal" tomatoes and are perfect for tomato sauce, puree, cooking, etc. The fruits are very firm and meaty and not so watery if cooked. Helen’s German produces mid-sized to large beefsteak tomatoes of around 250-500grams each. The fruits in the picture are around 300-330 grams. Dark-pink fruits, slightly flattened with bulky ribbed shoulders. Meaty flesh with an excellent, sweet tomato flavor. From Germany. It was grown for about 20 years in Iowa. Passed on to relatives by the Navarre family in Madison, Wisconsin. Helen Navarre gave seeds to Sue Gronholz in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin. Gronholz introduced it in 1997 in the Seeds Savers Yearbook. Korean Long produces elongated, pointy, paste-type tomatoes, up to 200grams each. Rasberry-pink, meaty fruits with few seeds. Sweet, pleasant tomato flavor. Crack-resistant and keeps well after picking. New Big Dwarf is a dwarf variety growing up to 60-100m in height. Produces flattened, slightly ribbed beefsteak tomatoes around 250 grams each. Dark-pink fruits with a well-balanced sweet flavor. Cross between ’Dwarf Champion’ and ’Ponderosa’. (Not the longkeeper-variety ’Ponderosa’, but ’Ponderosa’/”Number 400” från 1892). Cross made in 1909 by ”S. M. Isbell & Co.” USA. TastyWine, 'TastyWine Tomato' is a dwarf variety growing up to 100cm in height. Produces small to mid-sized, oblate, and slightly ribbed beefsteak tomatoes around 150-300grams each. Bright pink fruits with a delicious, fresh, well-balanced flavor. Rugose, dark green foliage, potato leaf. Indeterminate dwarf. Derives from a cross between 'Dwarf Wild Fred' and 'Brandywine' by Vince Lavallo in 2008 called "Tasty". 'TastyWine' was later selected and named by Vince. Introduced in 2016. Wild Spudleaf, 'Dwarf Wild Spudleaf Tomato' is a dwarf variety growing up to 100cm in height. Produces oblate, mid-sized tomatoes around 100-250grams each. Dusky pink fruits with a darker, green neck. Pleasant, well-balanced flavor. Rugose, dark green foliage, potato leaf. Determinate dwarf. Derives from a cross between 'Dwarf Wild Fred' and 'Spudakee'. Zoe’s Sweet, 'Dwarf Zoe’s Sweet Tomato' is a dwarf variety growing up to 100-150cm in height. Produces slightly flattened, mid-sized to large beefsteak tomatoes around 150-400grams each. Smooth, dark pink fruits with a pleasant, juicy and sweet flavor. Very meaty fruits after one of the "parents", 'Pale Leaf Mullens Mortgage Lifter'. Rugose foliage, potato leaf. Zoe’s Sweet has lime-green, chartreuse foliage, and due to the chartreuse-gene, the variety has higher growth than other dwarfs.
