Scheherazade produces larger, plum-shaped tomatoes, around 120-250grams each. Red, furry fruits with a unique almost "sticky" skin. Intence, sweet tomato flavor. Slightly wispy leaves. Secà, ‘de tomàquet de penjar del Secà’, is a Spanish “hanging tomato” – longkeeper tomato from Catalonia, Spain. “Penjar” is “to hang” in Catalan. Originates in the municipality of La Fatarella, preserved by Joan Pellissa. Has originally been farmed on dry land, drought and heat tolerant. Produces round, small, firm, and quite dry fruits.
