Emerald City produces beautiful mini-beefsteaks in jade-green with golden stripes. Excellent juicy-sweet tomato flavor. Dwarf plants that reach around 40-50cm in height, great to grow in large pots. Semi-determinate. Bred by Karen Olivier, Northern Gardener, of Canada in her “Short and Sweet” project. Emerald Comet of Sofia, Изумрудная Комета Софии / Emerald Comet Sophia, is a beautiful, heart-shaped tomato of around 200-400 grams each. The fruits are emerald colored with golden and antho-dark stripes. Yellow-ochre-colored flesh. Excellent, rich, and sweet tomato flavor. Bred by Sofia Saakova. Mid-season, around 80D. Emerald Evergreen produces large, oblate beefsteak tomatoes around 250-500grams each. Green-amber fruits with lime-green flesh. Mild, pleasant taste, more sweet than tart. Emerald Giant, ’Dwarf Emerald Giant Tomato’, is a dwarf variety growing up to 100-120cm in height. Produces smooth, oblate, slightly ribbed, large beefsteak tomatoes, around 200-500 grams each. E-Obsidian is a variety from Kleverhof’s Element Series. Produces round to slightly flattened and ribbed, mid-sized tomatoes around 50-180grams each. Erik is a bush variety growing up to around 90-100cm in height. Produces normal-sized, red tomatoes with good flavor. This variety is an old Swedish variety that has been passed down through the generations. It is kept stored in "The Nordic Genetic Resource Center" under the number "NGB 18729". Espalda Verde is an indeterminate variety growing to about 200cm in height and spreads width-wise depending on how much of the suckers are pruned. Produces oblate large fruits with a full, sweet, slightly spicy tomato flavor. Fruits in size of small beefsteaks, up to 200grams each. Bright-red fruits with a green neck, as the name states in Spanish - "Green Neck". Thick-skinned, very meaty fruits with firm flesh. Crack-resistant. Keeps very well after harvest, up to 4 months. Not exactly a Longkeeper variety in the true sense but Espalda Verde has the most excellent characteristics for storage after harvest. Especially for a large-fruited variety. This is one of the very few beefsteaks that can be stored for a longer period of time. Best stored laying on trays, since the fruits are quite heavy.
