Maralinga DTP Dwarf Tomato
Maralinga, 'Maralinga Dwarf Tomato' is a dwarf variety growing up to 100cm in height. Heavy yielder of smooth, oblate small beefsteak tomatoes, around 150-300grams each. Derives from a cross between an early generation from "the Sleepy Family" called 'Wilpena' and 'Cherokee Purple' by Patrina Nuske Small in 2008 and was called "Plentiful". 'Maralinga' was then selected and named by Patrina. Maralinga is a place in southern Australia where Great Britain tested nuclear weapons in 1950.
