Loxton Lad, 'Loxton Lad Dwarf Tomato' is a dwarf variety growing up to 100cm in height. Produces smooth, oblate, mid-sized to large beefsteak tomatoes, around 180-450grams each. Larger fruits than its "cousin" 'Loxton Lass'. Bright orange fruits with a pleasant well-balanced flavor. Rugose, dark green foliage, regular leaf. Derives from a cross between 'Rosella Purple' and 'Orange Heirloom' by Patrina Nuske Small in 2009 that was named "Rosy". 'Loxton Lad' was selected from this family and named by Patrina. Loaghtan Woolies NOT is a bush variety growing to about 100-150cm in height. Loaghtan Woolies produces small, woolly, slightly ribbed fruits around 100 grams. My plants, however, produced heavily ribbed, not woolly fruits around 100 grams – that’s why I call it “NOT”. The plants grow as a bush to around 100-150cm high. Very pretty multi-colored, striped fruits in brown-yellow-pink with green stripes. The fruits are meaty with a slightly spicy tomato flavor with a good balance between sweet and tart. Loaghtan Woolies is a bush variety around 90-140cm high. Produces medium-sized, flattened and ribbed fruits around 60-250 grams each. Gorgeous fruits in red-brown with green stripes.
