Treccia Rossa, “Red Braid” is a long keeper variety from Italy. Produces oval, plum-shaped fruits of around 20-30 grams each. Bright-red fruits with a sweet and traditional tomato flavor. Thick skin and firm flesh, crack-resistant. Good shelf life, keeps very well after harvest, around 6-7 months. Also great for canning and sun drying. Indeterminate. 75-80D. 10seeds/pack

Unknown Variety 1 - 2024 was supposed to be ‘Dirty Curty’, but apparently it’s not. But since this was such a beautiful and tasty variety I had to keep some seeds. I don’t know if it’s a mutation, a mix-up from the seed seller, or a cross. It produces flat-round, mid-sized beefsteak tomatoes of around 150-350 grams each. Some fruits are less ribbed and some are heavily ribbed. Ivory-white, very beautiful fruits. Some fruits also get a slight antho-coloring on the neck where the fruits are exposed to the sun.
