Taiga Beefsteak Tomato

Taiga produces heart-shaped beefsteak tomatoes around 200-300grams each. Beautiful multicolored fruits in green-yellow-pink. Firm fruits with few seeds. Excellent, well-balanced tomato flavor. Potato leaf. This is an indeterminate, vining variety of tomato growing to about 200cm in height and spreads some width-wise depending on how much of the suckers are pruned and the choice of staking and support. This variety is bred by Karen Olivier (Northern Gardener) of Canada in the project “True North”. Mooncalf Stick produces round-ish, flattened, large cherry tomatoes, around 30-50 grams each. Mooncalf has the “stick-gene” making the plant grow in a stick-like manner with the leaves in lovely little bouquets.
