Low Growing Tomatoes

Yantarnyi, "Amber" is a compact bush, or dwarf, variety, growing up to 60-80cm in height. Also does well in a container. Produces round, golden-yellow-orange tomatoes, about 5cm in diameter. Fruits have yellow flesh and orange skin and appear amber-colored. Pleasant mild tomato flavor, more acidic than sweet. Also does well in cooler weather and shorter seasons. Russia. Yashi is a small bush variety with cascading stems, perfect to grow in raised beds or hanging baskets. Around 35x35cm. Produces round, golden-yellow, mid-sized cherry tomatoes. Juicy and sweet tomato flavor. Around 65D. 10seeds/pack

Yellow Banana is a bush variety growing up to 60-90cm in height. Produces elongated, bright yellow paste-type tomatoes around 7cm long. Very firm fruits with few seeds, looking like little bananas. Sweet tomato flavor, not too juicy. Paste-type tomatoes contain less water than "normal" tomatoes and are perfect for tomato sauce, puree, cooking, etc. The fruits are very firm and meaty and not so watery if cooked. Yellow Brick Road produces beautiful mini-beefsteaks in golden-yellow with pale-yellow stripes. Excellent, well-balanced fruity and sweet tomato flavor. Dwarf plants that reach around 40-50cm in height, great to grow in large pots. Semi-determinate. Regular leaf. Bred by Karen Olivier, Northern Gardener, of Canada in her “Short and Sweet” project. Yellow Budgie is a micro or mini dwarf variety growing up to around 30cm high if planted in a pot. It might also grow higher if planted in a larger pot or planted in the open ground, up to 45-60cm. Produces deep-yellow, large, oval-round cherry tomatoes. Firm fruits with a fresh, tangy tomato flavor. Regular leaf. Creation of Bunny Hop Seeds.
