Cross between ’Dwarf Champion’ and ’Ponderosa’. (Not the longkeeper-variety ’Ponderosa’, but ’Ponderosa’/”Number 400” från 1892). Cross made in 1909 by ”S. M. Isbell & Co.” USA. Numbat, 'Dwarf Numbat Tomato' is a dwarf variety growing up to 100cm in height. Produces small/mid-sized, round tomatoes around 80grams each. The fruits a mostly uniform in size. Beautiful yellow fruits with green stripes and clear green flesh. Tangy, fresh flavor. Rugose, dark green foliage, regular leaf. Derives from ”the Quirky Family", a cross by Ray South between 'Green Zebra' and a red-fruited selection from "the Cheeky Family". Was later selected and named by Ray South. Introduced in 2019.
