Tumbling Jester is a cascading variety perfect to grow in high pots, raised beds, or hanging baskets. Supposedly the same variety as Rambling Red Stripe. However, I found the fruits of Tumbling Jester to be more brown-ish and the fruits of Rambling Red Stripe to be more red-ish. The fruits are round to slightly oval, around 4cm in diameter. Unknown Variety 1 - 2024 was supposed to be ‘Dirty Curty’, but apparently it’s not. But since this was such a beautiful and tasty variety I had to keep some seeds. I don’t know if it’s a mutation, a mix-up from the seed seller, or a cross. It produces flat-round, mid-sized beefsteak tomatoes of around 150-350 grams each. Some fruits are less ribbed and some are heavily ribbed. Ivory-white, very beautiful fruits. Some fruits also get a slight antho-coloring on the neck where the fruits are exposed to the sun. Unknown Variety 2 - 2024 was supposed to be ’Harvard Square’, but apparently it’s not! But since this was such a beautiful and tasty variety I had to keep some seeds. I have no idea if it’s a natural mutation, a mix-up from the seed seller, or a cross. It produces small to mid-sized fruits of around 40-100 grams each. Mysteriously ochre-green fruits with a pink blush as fully ripe. Green pink flesh with green gel. Very fruity and sweet tomato flavor with a hint of citrus. Indeterminate. 70-75D. 10seeds/pack
Unknown Variety came to us as ‘Kozula 139’, which it’s clearly not since ‘Kozula 139’ is a paste-type variety. ‘Unknow Variety’ turned out to be an awesome variety though. Multi-colored/striped fruits in metallic-green-red with green-pink flesh. The fruits are flat round and ribbed, weighing around 100-200 grams each. Unknown Variety 2023 – “Long Pink Pear” is a paste-type tomato, containing less water than “regular” tomatoes, perfect for cocking and sauces, etc. Produces elongated, pear-shaped fruits with a small nipple, around 60-80 grams each. Pale-pink fruits with some pale-green coloring on the necks. Meaty flesh with a sweet tomato flavor. The seeds of this variety were given to me as ‘Sinister Minister’, and clearly it is not.
