Emerald Evergreen produces large, oblate beefsteak tomatoes around 250-500grams each. Green-amber fruits with lime-green flesh. Mild, pleasant taste, more sweet than tart. Emerald City produces beautiful mini-beefsteaks in jade-green with golden stripes. Excellent juicy-sweet tomato flavor. Dwarf plants that reach around 40-50cm in height, great to grow in large pots. Semi-determinate. Bred by Karen Olivier, Northern Gardener, of Canada in her “Short and Sweet” project. Elsie’s Fancy, ‘Dwarf Elsie's Fancy Tomato’, is a dwarf variety growing up to 90cm on average in height. Produces oblate, slightly ribbed, smooth tomatoes, around 100-300grams each. Elser’s Brown Derby produces large, round beefsteak tomatoes around 400grams each. Multicolored fruits in brown-green-orange. Complex, rich slightly spicy, "dark" tomato flavor. Elma Blue is an indeterminate bush variety growing to about 150cm in height and around 70cm in width. Produces mid-sized tomatoes around 30-90grams each. Well-balanced slightly spicy tomato flavor. Elf Tears NOT produces drop-shaped cherry tomatoes. Ivory-white-yellow fruits with a mild, sweet flavor and a fruity aroma. Elberta Peach is a determinate variety growing to about 130cm in height and around 70cm in width. Produces mid-sized tomatoes around 80grams each. Early Tanana is a bush variety growing up to around 80cm in height. Produces large, red cherry tomatoes, around 5cm in diameters. Mild flavor with little acid. Tolerates cooler weather. Earl of Edgecombe produces slightly flattened, slightly ribbed fruits around 80-200 grams each. Dark orange, firm, and dense fruits with orange flesh. Excellent well-balanced, not too sweet, tomato flavor. Family heritage from New Zealand. Featured in the 1997 Seed Savers Yearbook by Carolyn Homme. Quite resistant to blossom end rot (BER) and crack-resistant. The content of Tetra-cis-lycopene is 2.52 according to the NZ Heritage Food Crops Research Project.
