Haley’s Purple Comet produces regular-sized, round cherry tomatoes around 2-2,5cm in diameter. Beautiful, black-purple fruits with a green neck. Rich, “black” tomato flavor. Tim’s Taste of Paradise produces round, small cherry tomatoes, around 1,5cm in diameter. Golden-yellow fruits with yellow flesh. Delicious, sweet, umami tomato flavor. Brad Gates, Wild Boar Farms, the USA. This variety was developed in the 1990s by plant breeder Tim Peters. It was released as ”Fruity Mix”. When Tim closed his business in the early 2000’s it was almost lost! In 2018 Tien Chiu found a 17-year-old seed pack and managed to grow three plants.
