C’al Papa, ‘Ramallet C’al Papa – meaning “of father’s home”, is a longkeeper variety from Mallorca, Spain. A friend who sent me the seeds got her seeds from a friend from Spain. This variety is from his father’s village. My plants produced mid-sized, oval fruits of around 40-50grams each. However, my plant didn’t get sufficient watering. With sufficient water, the fruits will get larger, up to 80-100 grams. Yellow-pink fruits with yellow-pink flesh. Firm fruits that keep well after harvest. 75-80D. Indeterminate. 10seeds/pack

Caganer, ‘tomàquet de penjar Caganer’, is a Spanish “hanging tomato” – longkeeper tomato from Catalonia, Spain. “Penjar” is “to hang” in Catalan. This variety has quite small fruits and got its name from the smallest room in the house, “el caganer”, which literally means "the pooper". The fruits are about 4cm in diameter, around 30-40grams each. Yellow-red-orange fruits with greener necks. Keeps very well after harvest. Originates in Caldes de Malavella, reported by Joan Borrell, Indeterminate. 80D. 10seeds/pack

Crispiana, “Crispiano Giallorosso”, is a longkeeper variety from the town of Crispiano in southern Italy. Produces round, golden fruits with a pink-red blush of around 20-50 grams each, never looking completely ripe. Pleasant, acidic tomato flavor. Thick skin and firm flesh, crack-resistant. Good shelf life, and keeps very well after harvest. In Italian, this is a “pomodori da serbo”, a tomato for storage. Indeterminate. 70-75D. 10seeds/pack

Date Fruit Yellow is a semi-determinate variety growing to about 150cm in height and spreads width-wise depending on how much of the suckers are pruned. Produces oval, small fruits in large clusters. Golden-yellow fruits with thick skin and firm flesh. Pleasant sweet tomato flavor. Keeps very well after harvest, up to 6months. The fruits can dry and wrinkle during storage. GiaGiu is a longkeeper variety of Italian piennolo type. Produces oval to plum-shaped fruits with a distinct pointed end around 20-30 grams each. Bright yellow fruits with a sweet and fresh tomato flavor. Thick skin and firm flesh, crack-resistant. Good shelf life, and keeps very well after harvest. A spontaneous hybridization discovered in a field of ‘Pienolo del Vésuvio’. Was named after the granddaughter of the gardener who found it. Indeterminate. 75-80D. 10seeds/pack
