Mala Cara is an indeterminate variety growing to about 200cm in height and spreads some width-wise depending on how much of the suckers are pruned. Potato leaf. Produces round, mid-sized in clusters. Pale-yellow-pink fruits with a "frosty" shimmer. The name means "bad face" in Spanish, like a blushing face. Thick skin and firm flesh. Pleasant sweet tomato flavor. It is named after the village of Vilanova de Bellpuig, from where it originates. Reported by Pere Sauch. Produces flat-round fruits with ribbed shoulders, around 50grams each.
