Christmassy is a determinate variety growing to about 100cm in height and spreads some width-wise. Produces round large, fruits around 100-150grams each, 3-5 fruits in each cluster. Pale-red-orange fruits with thick skin and walls and firm flesh. Pleasant, not so sweet, tomato flavor. Keeps very well after harvest, stored on trays or such. d’Arbúcies, ‘de tomàquet de penjar d’Arbúcies’, is a Spanish “hanging tomato” – longkeeper tomato from Catalonia, Spain. “Penjar” is “to hang” in Catalan. Its named after the village of Arbúcies in Girona and was reported by Pere Pasqual. Produces orange-red fruits with a pointed end, around 50grams each. Firm fruits with thick flesh and little juice.
