Principe Borghese Longkeeper Tomato

Principe Borghese is an indeterminate variety growing to about 150cm in height and spreads some width-wise depending on how much of the suckers are pruned. More compact growth than other varieties. Produces oval, classical piennolo-fruits with a pointy end. Bright-red fruits with thick skin and firm flesh. Pleasant sweet tomato flavor. Keeps very well after harvest. Can be stored hanging in clusters or on trays, up to 5 months. The fruits can dry in and wrinkle a bit during storage. One of five varieties with PDO protected status. 75D. 10seeds/pack

Professor Klapprott“s Spitze is a long keeper variety. Produces oval to plum-shaped, slightly ribbed fruits with a pointy end. Bright-red fruits of around 20-30 grams each. Sweet, classic tomato flavor. Thick skin and crack-resistant. Firm flesh. Good shelf life. Not much is known of its origin. Purple Russian Plum, also know as 'Ukrainian Purple', produces oval paste-type tomatoes, around 8-10cm long. Purple fruits with a green neck, juicy, pleasant tomato flavor. Firm, meaty fruits with few seeds. Crack-resistant and keeps well after picking. This is an indeterminate, vining variety of tomato growing to about 200cm in height and spreads some width-wise depending on how much of the suckers are pruned and the choice of staking and support.
