Queen of Malinalco is a Tomatillo producing huge, elongated, pale-yellow fruits. Medium-sweet, fruity, fresh flavour, different from other tomatillos. Plants grow to around 100-130cm in height. Tomatillo Toma Verde produces slightly flattened fruits around 3-6cm in diameter. The fruits have a bright green color, ripening to a more amber, yellow-green. Pale flesh. Tzimbalo is tomato-relative from South America, a "wild pepino". The fruits are in the size of grapes, light-green in colour, with white stripes and spots. Use as berries, eat fresh, make jam or desserts. Slight melon-flavour but more acid, with a hint of gooseberry. The plant has a cascading growth.
