Svalöfs Torsdagsärt, “Svaloefs Thusday Pea” is a traditional pea for soups. Grows up to about 150cm and needs support. Produces straight, short pods with smaller yellow peas. Thursday is the day in the week when Swedes traditionally ate pea soup and pork for dinner. Derives from the varieties ‘Kapitalärt’ and Östgöta Gulärt’. Old variety from Sweden, from 1925. Svalövs Belloärt is a grey pea that grows to around 100cm high and needs support. Flowers with purple-pink flowers. Slightly shorter, green pods with brown seeds. From a cross between ‘Hero’ and ‘Artturi’ in 1956. Was traditionally used for animal feed. Use as shelling pea, soup pea, or in pots and stews. Pisum sativum. 10seeds/pack

Svartbjörsbyn Snow Pea grows to about 150cm in height and needs support. Flowers with white flowers. Produces shorter, green, crispy pods. Harvest when they start to swell. Works well to freeze.
