d’Arbúcies, ‘de tomàquet de penjar d’Arbúcies’, is a Spanish “hanging tomato” – longkeeper tomato from Catalonia, Spain. “Penjar” is “to hang” in Catalan. Its named after the village of Arbúcies in Girona and was reported by Pere Pasqual. Produces orange-red fruits with a pointed end, around 50grams each. Firm fruits with thick flesh and little juice. Keeps well after harvest. Indeterminate. 80D. 10seeds/pack

Dark Queen produces flattened and plump ribbed beefsteak tomatoes around 100-250grams each. Very pretty fruits in purple-pink with metallic green stripes. Juicy and fruity tomato flavor with some acidity. Creation of Brad Gates, Wild Boar Farm, USA. Indeterminate. 80D. 10seeds/pack

Davis UC 82 produces small to medium-sized, oval, red tomatoes around 50-80 grams each. Sweet and traditional tomato flavor. Bred by the University of California in Davis. Good disease resistance. 55-60D. Semi-determinate, around 80cm high. 10seeds/pack

Dikaya Roza produces mid-sized to large beefsteak tomatoes of around 200-700grams each. The fruits in the picture are around 250grams each. Flattened and slightly ribbed fruits with plump, slightly ribbed shoulders. Pretty bright pink color and pink flesh. Dense and firm with an excellent, well-balanced tomato flavor. Enchanting Cascade is a cascading variety, growing with 40-60cm long stems and semi-compact plants. Produces round, thin-skinned, red cherry tomatoes, up to 20grams each. Juicy, good fruits with a sweet tomato flavor. Determinate. Around 55-65D. 10seeds/pack

Frank's Iranian is a paste-type tomato with quite juicy fruits. Heavy yielder of oval, shiny red tomatoes around 5-7cm. Great for sauces, cooking, and sundried tomatoes. Strong, sweet tomato flavor. Semi-determinate, 120-150cm high. Introduced in the USA by the brother of Frank Timpone, from Brick, New Jersey. 70-75D. 10seeds/pack

Fuzzy Baby is a micro dwarf variety growing up to around 20-30cm in my garden. The plants can get bigger, up to around 45cm in height. The plants have a greyish-green coloring and hairy leaves, very pretty plants! Red-orange fruits with golden stripes, around 20-30 grams each. Also the fruits are woolly. Gargamella Picasso Striped is a dwarf variety growing up to 90-120cm in height. Produces elongated, plum-shaped, beautiful tomatoes in red-orange-striped with antho-dark neck. The fruits are juicy with a sweet and slightly acidic tomato flavor, around 50-80 grams each. Cross between ‘Gargamel’ and ‘Picasso’. Regular leaf. 70-80D. 10seeds/pack

George's Greek produces mid-sized beefsteak tomatoes of around 200-500grams each. Slightly flattened and ribbed fruits in a shiny red color. Meaty and juicy flesh with a traditional, sweet tomato flavor. George’s Greek is front left in the picture. The other varieties in the picture are ‘Big Italian Plum’, ‘Arkashin’, and Jantar (yellow). George (of Greek descent), in Vancouver, British Columbia, grew the variety for several years. Seeds were later obtained by his daughter Tina Exarchoulis. Giant Multiflora is a longkeeper variety producing huge multiflora clusters with 20-35 fruits per cluster. Each fruit weighs around 40-80grams. Very good yields.
