Brandywine Black produces large, oblate, slightly ribbed beefsteak tomatoes around 200-350grams each. Dark-black-red fruits with crimson flesh. Excellent, full "dark" tomato flavor. This is an indeterminate, vining variety of tomato growing to about 200cm in height and spreads some width-wise depending on how much of the suckers are pruned and the choice of staking and support. Brandywine OTV Beefsteak Tomato

Brandywine OTV, Brandywine Off The Vine, produces slightly flat-round, slightly ribbed beefsteak tomatoes of around 300-700 grams each. Red fruits with some orange blush. Red flesh with an excellent mild tomato flavor. From a spontaneous cross between Brandywine Yellow and an unknown variety. Stabilized by Carolyn Homme and published in 1996 with Craig LeHoullier.
