Low Growing Tomatoes

Maralinga, 'Maralinga Dwarf Tomato' is a dwarf variety growing up to 100cm in height. Heavy yielder of smooth, oblate small beefsteak tomatoes, around 150-300grams each. Beautiful, dark-red-black fruits with intense "dark" tomato flavor. Rugose, dark green foliage, regular leaf. Derives from a cross between an early generation from "the Sleepy Family" called 'Wilpena' and 'Cherokee Purple' by Patrina Nuske Small in 2008 and was called "Plentiful". 'Maralinga' was then selected and named by Patrina. Maralinga is a place in southern Australia where Great Britain tested nuclear weapons in 1950. This led to radiation sickness for the aborigines in this area. The original Maralinga-tomato had beetroot-red flesh, like an explosion. Introduced in 2016. OSSI. 75D. 10seeds/pack.

Maralinga NOT is a dwarf variety growing up to 100cm in height. Heavy yielder of smooth, oblate mid-sized tomatoes, around 200grams each. Red to dark pink fruits with a fresh, fruity, and sweet flavor. Rugose, dark green foliage. This variety came to us as ‘Maralinga Dwarf Tomato’ - Maralinga has darker fruits though, thus the "NOT". The Maralinga NOT tomato is worth growing though, with its high productivity and excellent flavor. 75D. 10seeds/pack.

Marglobe is a bush variety growing up to around 70-100cm in height, spreads quite a bit sideways. Produces round, mid-sized, red tomatoes with a pleasant flavor. Crack-resistant. Also does well in cooler weather. Resistant against blight and many other common tomato diseases. Cross between ‘the Globe’ and ‘Marvel’ av Frederick Pritchard, 1917. Determinate. 80D. 10seeds/pack

Maritime Bells is a dwarf variety around 100-120cm high. Produces mid-sized, pear-shaped fruits of around 40-70 grams each. Beautifully colored in purple-pink-green. Purple flesh with a juicy, sweet tomato flavor. Cross by Jason Haynes, USA. Regular leaf. Determinate. 75D. 5seeds/pack

Marong Moon, 'Dwarf Marong Moon Tomato' is a dwarf variety growing up to 100cm in height. Heavy yielder of oblate to globe-shaped, large cherry tomatoes, around 20-50grams each. Beautiful, ivory-yellow-white fruits with a delicious, well-balanced flavor. Rugose, dark green foliage, potato leaf. Introduced in 2021. OSSI. 85D. 10seeds/pack.

Martino's Roma is a bush variety around 80-100cm high. Produces red, medium-sized, plum-shaped, fruits around 30-70 grams each. Firm and meaty paste-types with few seeds. Mary’s Cherry, 'Dwarf Mary's Cherry Tomato' is a dwarf variety growing up to 100cm in height. Heavy yielder of round to oblate, small to mid-sized tomatoes, around 50-100grams each. Most fruits are large cherry tomatoes, but also larger fruits occur on the same plant. Beautiful, purple-red fruits with a darker neck. Excellent, complex flavor. Maskotka is a compact bush variety growing up to around 30-60cm in height. Also good to grow in pots and containers. Produces round, red cherry tomatoes with a pleasant sweet flavor. Determinate. 60-65D. 10seeds/pack

Maura's Cardinal, 'Dwarf Maura's Cardinal Tomato' is a dwarf variety growing up to 100cm in height. Produces round, mid-sized tomatoes, around 100-200grams each. Red fruits with well-balanced, delicious flavor. Rugose, dark green foliage, potato leaf. Derives from "the Dainty Family", a cross by Patrina Nuske Small between 'Summertime Gold' and 'Sleeping Lady'.
