Low Growing Tomatoes

Crimson Sockeye, ‘Crimson Sockeye', is a dwarf variety growing up to 100cm in height. Heavy yielder of smooth, flattened, ribbed small to mid-sized beefsteak tomatoes around 100-300 grams each. Beautiful crimson-red fruits with fine green stripes. Juicy with an excellent well-balanced flavor. Rugose, dark green foliage. From a cross between 'Rosella Purple' and 'Pink Berkeley Tie Dye’. Was first grown by Patrina Nuske Small in 2009 and was then called "Tidy”. It was later developed and selected and named by Ted Maiden and Sue Bailey. It would seem like 2 strains of 'Crimson Sockeye' have turned up, one with stipes ('Pink Berkeley Tie Dye’) and one without stripes ('Rosella Purple'). Adelaide Festival, ‘Adelaide Festival Tomato’, is a dwarf variety growing up to 90cm in height. Produces round-oblate mid-sized tomatoes, around 90-250grams each. Beautiful fruits in dark green-red-purple-striped, ripen to more golden-striped. Sweet, well-balanced taste, slightly smoky. Rugose, dark green leaves. Cross between 'Rosella Purple' and 'Pink Berkeley Tie Dye'. Selected by Patrina Nuske Small, Australia, and named after “the Adelaide Festival of Arts Fireworks”. Introduced in 2014. OSSI. Desert Star, ’Dwarf Desert Star Tomato’, is a dwarf variety growing up to 90-120cm in height. Heavy yielder of perfectly round cherry tomatoes around 25 grams each. Selected from “the Witty Family", a cross between 'Budai Torpe' and 'Cherokee Green' by Patrina Nuske Small in 2005 in Australia.
