Low Growing Tomatoes

Emerald City produces beautiful mini-beefsteaks in jade-green with golden stripes. Excellent juicy-sweet tomato flavor. Dwarf plants that reach around 40-50cm in height, great to grow in large pots. Semi-determinate. Bred by Karen Olivier, Northern Gardener, of Canada in her “Short and Sweet” project. Ola Polka is a mini dwarf or a small compact bush, growing to about 30-60cm in height. Produces bright yellow-orange fruits of around 30-40 grams each. Fully ripe fruits are golden yellow, and more over-ripe fruits turn to more orange. Round to oblate fruits, slightly ridged. Thick walls and sweet tomato flavor. Hardy against blight. Rounded leaves.
