Scheherazade produces larger, plum-shaped tomatoes, around 120-250grams each. Red, furry fruits with a unique almost "sticky" skin. Intence, sweet tomato flavor. Slightly wispy leaves. Both leaves and stems are covered with silver hair. This is a semi-determinate, vining variety of tomato growing to about 100-170cm in height and spreads some width-wise depending on how much of the suckers are pruned and the choice of staking and support. Sea Horse, ‘Morskoy Konok’, is a paste-type tomato, containing less water than “regular” tomatoes, perfect for cocking and sauces, etc. Produces oddly shaped fruits. Secà, ‘de tomàquet de penjar del Secà’, is a Spanish “hanging tomato” – longkeeper tomato from Catalonia, Spain. “Penjar” is “to hang” in Catalan. Originates in the municipality of La Fatarella, preserved by Joan Pellissa. Has originally been farmed on dry land, drought and heat tolerant. Produces round, small, firm, and quite dry fruits. Serendipity is an indeterminate variety growing to about 200cm in height and spreads some width-wise depending on how much of the suckers are pruned. Produces round fruits in clusters. Pale-yellow, hard fruits with thick skin and firm flesh. Pleasant tomato flavor. Crack-resistant. Keeps very well after harvest. Can be stored hanging in clusters for up to 7 months.
