Treccia Rossa, “Red Braid” is a long keeper variety from Italy. Produces oval, plum-shaped fruits of around 20-30 grams each. Bright-red fruits with a sweet and traditional tomato flavor. True Love, ’Vernaya Ljubov’, is a determinate variety growing to about 80-100cm in height and spreads some width-wise. Produces heart-shaped large, fruits up to 200grams each. Pale-green fruits with green-ivory firm flesh, and thick skin. Pleasant tomato flavor, best used for cooking. Keeps very well after harvest, up to 6 months, stored on trays or such. 78D. 10seeds/pack
Unknown Variety 2023 – “Long Pink Pear” is a paste-type tomato, containing less water than “regular” tomatoes, perfect for cocking and sauces, etc. Produces elongated, pear-shaped fruits with a small nipple, around 60-80 grams each. Pale-pink fruits with some pale-green coloring on the necks. Meaty flesh with a sweet tomato flavor. The seeds of this variety were given to me as ‘Sinister Minister’, and clearly it is not. Vesuviano Giallo is an indeterminate variety growing to about 200cm in height and spreads some width-wise depending on how much of the suckers are pruned.
