Mallorquìn is an indeterminate variety growing to about 200cm in height and spreads some width-wise depending on how much of the suckers are pruned. Produces round fruits with a pointy end in large clusters. Bright-red fruits with thick skin and firm flesh. Pleasant sweet tomato flavor. Keeps very well after harvest, up to 9 months. Mallorquí, ‘tomàquet de penjar Mallorquí (Vilanova B)’, is a Spanish “hanging tomato” – longkeeper tomato from Catalonia, Spain. “Penjar” is “to hang” in Catalan. It is named after the village of Vilanova de Bellpuig, from where it originates. Reported by Pere Sauch. Produces flat-round fruits with ribbed shoulders, around 50grams each. Keeps well after harvest, at least 6 months. Indeterminate. 80D. 10seeds/pack
