Blauwschokker is a variety growing to around 180-200cm high and needs support. Flowers with purple-pink flowers and after, produce dark purple pods. Can be used as a snow pea if harvested early. When harvested as fully ripe, use as marrowfat peas or shelling peas in soups, pies, stews, etc. Can be eaten fresh or dried or canned for later use.
