High Growing Tomatoes

Arkashin produces mid-sized to large beefsteak tomatoes of around 250-400grams each. Bright red fruits with slightly green necks. Round-ish fruits with rounded, slightly ribbed necks. Dense and fleshy fruits with a well-balanced tomato flavor. Arkashin is in the back, to the left. The other varieties in the picture are ‘George’s Greek’, ‘Big Italian Plum’, and ‘Jantar’. Armenian produce flattened and ribbed, sometimes heart-shaped, beefsteak tomatoes around 150-300grams each. Golden fruits veiled in red and pink. Golden flesh with a pink blush, very few seeds. Sweet, delicious, and fruity tomato flavor. From Armenia, introduced to the Seed Savers Yearbook in 1991. Also does well in a hot and dry climate. Indeterminate. 80-85D. 10seeds/pack

Artisan Blush Tiger produces long plum-shaped, large cherry tomatoes, around 5cm long. Beautiful creme-yellow fruits with golden stripes. Crack-resistant fruits with a well-balanced sweet tomato flavor. This is an indeterminate variety. 75-80D. 10seeds/pack

Artisan Golden Bumble Bee produces round cherry tomatoes. Golden yellow fruits with golden-orange stripes. Excellent juicy sweet flavor. This is an indeterminate, vining variety of tomato growing to about 200cm in height and spreads some width-wise depending on how much of the suckers are pruned and the choice of staking and support. 65D. 10seeds/pack

Artisan Green Bumblebee produces oval larger cherry tomatoes. Good yielder of green fruits with darker green stripes and a golden-pink blush around 15-25 grams each. Excellent, rich, and complex tomato flavor. Crack-resistant fruits. A variety from the “Bumblebee-line” from Artisan Seeds. Supposedly a mutation of ‘Purple Bumblebee’.
