Rio Fuego is a paste-type tomato, containing less water than “regular” tomatoes, perfect for cocking and sauces, etc. Produces oval, chubby fruits, around 40-80 grams each. Rosella Purple, 'Rosella Purple Tomato' is a dwarf variety growing up to 90-120m in height. Produces mid-sized, oblate, slightly ribbed beefsteak tomatoes around 150-300grams each. Beautiful purple-pink fruits with a darker neck. Well-balanced, full, excellent tomato flavor resembling 'Cherokee Purple'. Rugose, dark green foliage, regular leaf. Derives from a cross between ’Budai’ and 'Stump of the World' by Patrina Nuske Small in 2006 in Australia. Later, ‘Rosella Purple’ was selected and named by Craig LeHoullier. Introduced in 2011.
