New Big Dwarf is a dwarf variety growing up to 60-100m in height. Produces flattened, slightly ribbed beefsteak tomatoes around 250 grams each. Dark-pink fruits with a well-balanced sweet flavor. Cross between ’Dwarf Champion’ and ’Ponderosa’. (Not the longkeeper-variety ’Ponderosa’, but ’Ponderosa’/”Number 400” från 1892). Cross made in 1909 by ”S. M. Isbell & Co.” USA.
