Low Growing Tomatoes

Early Tanana is a bush variety growing up to around 80cm in height. Produces large, red cherry tomatoes, around 5cm in diameters. Mild flavor with little acid. Tolerates cooler weather. According to records, fruits on Early Tanana ripens at as low temperatures as 7 degrees. One of the first varieties developed in Alaska. Determinate. 70D. 10seeds/pack

Farthest North is a bush variety growing up to around 40cm in height. Produces red, globe-shaped cherry tomatoes with a full, sweet flavor. Good resistance against the most common tomato diseases. Does well also in colder weather. Bred by Dr. Albert F. Yeager at the North Dakota Agricultural Experiment Station, from a stabilized cross between a wild current-type, 'Solanum pimpinellifolium' and 'Bison', 1934. Determinate. 40-50D. 10seeds/pack

Yantarnyi, "Amber" is a compact bush, or dwarf, variety, growing up to 60-80cm in height. Also does well in a container. Produces round, golden-yellow-orange tomatoes, about 5cm in diameter. Fruits have yellow flesh and orange skin and appear amber-colored. Pleasant mild tomato flavor, more acidic than sweet. Also does well in cooler weather and shorter seasons. Russia. Yellow Banana is a bush variety growing up to 60-90cm in height. Produces elongated, bright yellow paste-type tomatoes around 7cm long. Very firm fruits with few seeds, looking like little bananas. Sweet tomato flavor, not too juicy. Paste-type tomatoes contain less water than "normal" tomatoes and are perfect for tomato sauce, puree, cooking, etc. The fruits are very firm and meaty and not so watery if cooked. Zolotoy Potok, "Golden Stream", is a compact bush variety growing up to 50-70cm in height. Produces elongated, bright yellow paste-type tomatoes around 50-70 grams each. Very firm fruits with few seeds. Sweet tomato flavor, not too juicy. Paste-type tomatoes contain less water than "normal" tomatoes and are perfect for tomato sauce, puree, cooking, etc. The fruits are very firm and meaty and not so watery if cooked.
