Bush
Bush tomatoes usually grow to 50-100cm in height. They grow with slender stems, compared to dwarf varieties. Dwarf varieties have stronger and thicker stems. In general, bush varieties need no pruning. They might need some staking though. If the plant would get too large, it of course can be cut down a bit. Many of the bush varieties are determinate varieties. Determinate means that the plant will grow to a certain size and shape and then set fruit, the harvest period normally is around 10-20 days.
