Tzimbalo is tomato-relative from South America, a "wild pepino". The fruits are in the size of grapes, light-green in colour, with white stripes and spots. Use as berries, eat fresh, make jam or desserts. Slight melon-flavour but more acid, with a hint of gooseberry. The plant has a cascading growth. Can be grown in hanging baskets, high pot or raised beds. Can also be grown with support, grows up to 1m in height. Solanum caripense. 25seeds/pack

How to Grow

Sow indoors about 2 months before planting in the garden or in pots outdoors. Sow the seeds on the surface of the soil. Do not let the seedlings dry out.
