Furry Bumble Bee Tomato

Furry Bumble Bee is a bush variety growing to about 60-80cm in height and around 50cm in width. Produces mid-sized tomatoes up to 100grams each. Round to oval firm fruits, almost pate-type, meaty with small seed cavities. Keeps well after harvest. Sweet tomato flavor. Both the fruits and the plants are covered in silver-fuzzy hair. Bush tomatoes usually grow to 50-100cm in height. They grow with slender stems, compared to dwarf varieties. Dwarf varieties have stronger and thicker stems. In general, bush varieties need no pruning. They might need some staking though. If the plant would get too large, it of course can be cut down a bit. Many of the bush varieties are determinate varieties. Determinate means that the plant will grow to a certain size and shape and then set fruit, the harvest period normally is around 10-20 days. After this, the plant is "done" and dies.
