Black Mustard

Black Mustard has been grown in the Mediterranean area for thousands of years. The plants grow to about 60cm in height. Flowers with yellow small flowers on long stalks. After flowering comes the elongated seedpods, containing the black, round seeds. The seeds are used for Dijon mustard. Stronger in flavor than White Mustard. The plant has also traditionally been used as a medicinal herb for rheumatic disorders and respiratory infections. Brassica nigra. Around 500seeds/pack

How to Grow

Sow directly in the garden when the soil is ready. Can also be pre-cultivated for later planting in the garden. Do not let the seedlings dry out.
