Karma Purple Multiflora Tomato

Karma Purple Multiflora produces round to slightly flattened fruits around 20-40grams each in smaller multiflora clusters. Dark-purple fruits with a slightly green neck. Dark flesh with an excellent rich and fruity tomato flavor. Think skin. Indeterminate. Potato leaf. This variety is a product of “the Karma Project” by Karen Olivier, Northern Gardener, of Canada, and Marsha Eisenberg of Florida. Named after KARen and MArsha. Selected from a cross between Captain Lucky and Ambrosia. The other varieties in “The Karma Project” are Karma Apricot, Karma Miracle, Karma Peach, Karma Purple, and Karma Pink. Indeterminate tomato varieties will keep on growing the whole summer until the autumn frost. They will keep flowering and setting fruit. The sucker doesn't have to be pruned, but if not the plant will grow extremely large. 1-3 suckers could be spared along the main stem and the rest could be pruned. If not pruned at all the plant might tend to put energy into growing large instead of producing tomatoes on the main stem and the selected suckers. All indeterminate varieties could be staked or supported to avoid fruits laying on the ground.
