The Advent Calendar of 2023 is for the Tomato Lover! The Calendar of 2023 contains a total of 35 packets of lovely tomato varieties. We have chosen varieties that we find well worth growing! A mix of beefsteak tomatoes, paste-types, cherries, micro dwarfs, long keepers, bush, dwarfs, etc. Some early, some midseason, and some late varieties. The packets of seeds are wrapped up in 24 separate envelopes - "doors". It all comes delivered in sequential order, in a string, so you can easily hang it in just the right spot. Perfect if you want to treat yourself with a Christmas Gift every day from the first of December to Christmas Eve! Or the perfect Christmas Gift for that seed-o-holic friend!

Taiga produces heart-shaped beefsteak tomatoes around 200-300grams each. Beautiful multicolored fruits in green-yellow-pink. Firm fruits with few seeds. Excellent, well-balanced tomato flavor. Potato leaf. This is an indeterminate, vining variety of tomato growing to about 200cm in height and spreads some width-wise depending on how much of the suckers are pruned and the choice of staking and support. This variety is bred by Karen Olivier (Northern Gardener) of Canada in the project “True North”. Painted Hill Sweet Corn is a beautiful, multicolored type of sweet corn. The ears have colors in brown, pink, purple, white, red, yellow, and blue. The coloring starts already as unripe and gets stronger while ripening. The cobs keep the color after boiling, some color may fade. The plants are around 150-170cm high. Painted Hill has a traditional, old-time sweet corn flavor. Painted Hill is a cross between the flour corn 'Painted Mountain' and the sweet corn 'Luther Hill''. Due to the "sturdy genes" from 'Painted Mountain', Painted Hill also does well in a cooler climate with a shorter season. 70D. 25seeds/pack

Yukon Chief Sweet Corn is one of the earliest varieties of corn. During good conditions, Yukon Chief is ready to eat in only 55 days. Golden yellow ears around 15cm long with a traditional sweet corn flavor. Sturdy dwarf plants reach around 100cm. Germinates and grows well also in cooler soils. Developed at the University of Alaska, released in 1958. 20seeds/pack.

Alice's Dream produces large, oblate, ribbed beefsteak tomatoes around 200-400grams each. Beautiful, multicolored fruits in golden-yellow-purple with a darker neck. Excellent, fresh, and sweet tomato flavor. This is an indeterminate, vining variety of tomato growing to about 200cm in height and spreads some width-wise depending on how much of the suckers are pruned and the choice of staking and support. Tartufo is a micro dwarf growing up to around 25-35cm in height and can spread around 15-20cm. The fruits ripen from green with an antho-purple neck to dark red-purple with a dark-purple neck. Round large cherry tomatoes with a full, fruity tomato flavor. Determinate. 60D. 10seeds/pack

Arctic Rose, ’Dwarf Arctic Rose Tomato’, is a dwarf variety growing up to 90cm in height. Heavy yielder of oblate tomatoes around 100-150grams each. Beautiful clear dark-pink, smooth fruits with a fresh, sweet pleasant flavor. Rugose, dark green, regular leaves. Cross between 'Budai Torpe' och 'Black from Tula' by Patrina Nuske Small, Australia in 2006. Was then called 'Grumpy'. Sherry Shiesl and Susan Bailey, Alaska did most of the selection work with ‘Arctic Rose’. Determinate Dwarf. Introduced in 2012. OSSI. Recommended for a shorter season. 60D. 10seeds/pack.

Fred's Tie Dye, ’Fred's Tie Dye Tomato’, is a dwarf variety growing up to 100cm in height. Produces oblate, ribbed mid-sized tomatoes, around 180grams each. Purple-red fruits with golden-green stripes. Crimson flesh with rich, intense "black" tomato flavor. Rugose, dark green foliage, regular leaf. Selected from a cross between 'Dwarf Wild Fred' and 'Pink Berkeley Tie Dye', and named by Vince Lavallo. Introduced in 2015. OSSI. 75D. 10seeds/pack.

Lokförare Bergfälts Jätteärt Snow Pea, classified as a grey pea. The plants grow to over 200cm in height, many times up to 300cm, and need support. Produces extremely large pods, around 3cm broad and 15cm long, sometimes up to 20cm long. Excellent, sweet flavor, meaty and crispy pods. Even large pods with more developed peas inside are still crispy and tender! Flowers with violet-red flowers. Nordic Genebank number: NGB 21724. Very rare variety. The name in Swedish means "Traindriver Mountainfields Giant Pea". The original seeds of this variety were found in the house of a Swedish train driver called Bergfält, from the city of Ludvika in Sweden. Traindriver Bergfält lived between 1890-1945. The seeds eventually ended up at a Swedish Seed Saver Organisation. Pisum sativum. 10seeds/pack

Fat Frog is a micro dwarf, growing to 20-30cm in height. It is a unique variety with green fruits and okra-green-brown flesh. The large cherry tomatoes have a flavor that resembles grapes. Creation of Bunny Hop Seeds. USA. Determinate. 50-60D. 10seeds/pack

Kenneths Piennolo is an indeterminate variety growing to about 200cm in height and spreads some width-wise depending on how much of the suckers are pruned. Potato leaf. Produces oval fruits with a pointy end in clusters. Bright-red fruits with thick skin and firm flesh. Pleasant sweet tomato flavor. Keeps very well after harvest. Can be stored hanging in clusters or on trays, up to 9 months. The fruits can dry in and wrinkle a bit during storage. Potato leaf. This variety derives from Sweden. A man named Kenneth collected seeds from piennolo-tomatoes bought in a store in Stockholm in the 1990s. After this, the variety spread and has been grown since then. 75-80D. 10seeds/pack
